Financial Planning for High Earners

A clear, written financial plan built around three things: the income you earn, the assets you build, and what your family inherits.

Where the plan does its work.

Every recommendation I make traces back to one of three places: what you keep from what you earn, what your money does while you're not watching it, and what's still standing for your family afterward.

Income

Keep more of what you earn

High earners rarely have an income problem. They have a tax-drag problem. I look for the strategies that fit your situation: how your business is structured, how your retirement plan is designed, when income and deductions land. Then I hand you a written list of ideas.

I don't file returns or replace your accountant. My job is to find the ideas and make sure someone qualified acts on them.

Assets

Put your income to work

Money sitting in checking is doing nothing for you. We strategize how much should be invested, where, and for how long. The timeline is matched to when the money should work best for you.

Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal, and no strategy can guarantee a result. What a plan can do is make the risk you take deliberate instead of accidental.

Inheritance

Decide what you pass on

Most people at your income level have no will, no directive, and no plan for what happens to the family if something happens to them. We put the basic documents in place, coordinate with an estate attorney where a trust is warranted, and use life insurance where it belongs so the money arrives when it's needed.

Trusts are drafted by an attorney, not by me. I identify where one belongs and work alongside the person who writes it.

Who You'd Be Working With.

I'm Don Nguyen.

I help people find their best financial opportunities.

I'm a Financial Services Professional and Registered Representative working out of the Arlington, Texas office with clients across the Dallas–Fort Worth area and beyond.

How do we get started? That begins with asking questions. A lot of them. What matters to you, what you're trying to build, and what you want your money to be doing five and twenty-five years from now. Once that's clear, we focus on the areas where I can add the most value to what you're wanting to accomplish.

If this is what you're looking for, let's chat!

Most people earning well have never run the math on what "work optional" actually costs. This asks five questions and gives you a number: the amount you'd need invested, and what you'd have to invest monthly to reach it on your timeline.

These are free, they take minutes, and none of them put you on a call with me unless you decide you want one.
